Brewsday Tuesday: Full Sail Amber
I have never had anything by Full Sail Brewing Company and decided to change that when I picked up a Full Sail Amber from Market Square Liquors. Let’s see what their 47 employees came up with. Cheers!
Name: Full Sail Amber
Brewed by: Full Sail Brewing Company
Location: Hood River, Oregon
Style/ABV: American Amber / Red Ale / 5.5%
Appearance: Pours a medium amber with a light khaki three finger head.
Smell: Bready malts with slight citrus notes from the hops.
Taste: Bready sweet malts with caramel notes at the beginning that transition to a mild citrus hop finish which lingers.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with medium carbonation.
Overall: This is a very drinkable amber/red ale. It has a hearty feel without being heavy which I really enjoyed. This beer would go really well with a hamburger.
Final Grade: A

Hmm, may have to try this; sounds good and I love beer with burgers.
It was very balanced. I usually like IPAs with a burger, but I think this one would be good too. Let me know what you think!
