A Blog Milestone
A couple months back I separated my food blog from my regular everyday blog. At first I thought it was a mistake since no one was reading my new blog. The stats for the first week included a couple of zeros and I briefly considered moving all of the food post back to this site.
However, little by little people started to find Sweet Tea & Bourbon. My reviews from Urbanspoon drove some traffic while facebook, Twitter and other social media tools helped direct people to my site. It also started to pop up in Google results for the specific restaurants mentioned on the site.
This past week for the first time my food blog was read by more people than this blog. I am happy Sweet Tea & Bourbon continues to gain readers and am happy I made the decision to split this blog into two.
