Grocery Shopping, Cleaning and Relaxing
Since we did not get a chance to go shopping yesterday this morning I headed to Tallahassee to go to Sam’s Club (baby items), Wal-Mart (groceries) and Publix (hard to find grocery items). It took me about 2 ½ hour to go to all three stores and by the time I returned to Monticello the truck of the Vue was packed with diapers, baby food and two weeks worth of groceries.
Once the groceries were put away and Mason was playing in his exer-saucer Becks and I cleaned the house. It had been about three weeks since we scrubbed our little cottage and it was in need of a good cleaning. While I did the floors and dusted she tackled the bathrooms.
When I was done I changed the litter box (my least favorite chore) and then steam-mopped the bathrooms and kitchen. The house looked very good when we were done and it only took us a little over 2 hours to get everything in order.
The rest of the afternoon was spent reading on the couch, spending time with Mason and wishing that the weekend would last a little longer.
